Program at a Glance
The Narh-Madey Scholars Program, run by the SparkSTEM Foundation in partnership with the University of Cape Coast School of Agriculture, awards full tuition plus a laptop, mentorship, and career support to high-achieving but financially disadvantaged Ghanaian students after their first year. Applicants submit an online form, academic transcript, proof of need, recommendation letters, and a personal statement by the July deadline. Recipients must maintain a 3.4 CGPA, remain in the agriculture program, and participate in mentorship to keep the award.

Who: Ghanaian undergraduates at UCC School of Agriculture
When to Apply: Opens annually; deadline in July
Application Requirements
Application Form (online or at centers)
Two Recommendations: one academic, one community/professional
Personal Statement: passion for agriculture & career goals
First-Year Transcript (minimum CGPA 3.4)
Proof of Citizenship (birth certificate or national ID)
Evidence of Financial Need (living-situation description + supporting letter)
Parent/Guardian Info (contact, occupation, financial capacity)
Selection & Retention
Criteria: Academic merit, financial need, community involvement
To Keep the Award:
Maintain CGPA ≥ 3.4
Stay in agriculture specialization
Attend mentorship sessions and submit grades each semester
